Oscar Montemayor Life Celebration

Oscar Montemayor served as Associate Director of Academic Success in Oregon State University's Diversity and Cultural Engagement, and prior served as Academic Counselor with the College Assistance Migrant Program. Oscar was a devoted leader, advocate, and connector for Oregon's underserved communities. DAM was invited by OSU faculty to provide a live painting session at an on-campus life celebration. Many of the students and individuals who supported the completion of this art piece were directly advised, guided, and supported by Oscar himself. Oscar also supported DAM's very first project, Eye Sight - We See. You can find a portrait of Oscar as part of another collective DAM mural, The Heart.
